Student of the Solstice Term 2026: Star!

Congratulations to our Student of the Solstice Term, Star, whose dedication, curiosity, and willingness to grow made her shine throughout Advanced Astrology, Astral Dreaming, Pantheon, and Practical Magic. She embraced each class with an open heart, developing not only her knowledge but also her confidence, intuition, and daily magical practice. Her commitment to learning and her support of those around her embodied the spirit of BearBridge Academy and inspired both her classmates and instructors. We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished this term and look forward to seeing where her path leads next.

In Star's own words:

This term I took a full load of classes. Astrology, Practical, Astral Dreaming, and Pantheon. Each one was fun, informative and challenged some long held ideals, but the most impactful was Pantheon. The class explored so many different cultures and pantheons I have never heard of. It really opened my eyes to just how vast and expansive the spirit world is.

Not only that, but as someone who is healing from both an intense experience with a false oracle and deep religious trauma, I approached this class very cautiously and very skeptical of whether deity work was real or not, and if it was, if it was for me. At first, I felt fear and shame for going against what I was taught to believe and the rules I needed to follow. I never connected with any of it. As class went on, I noticed that the Goddesses I reached out to carried themes of protection,, motherhood, renewal, resilience, and the embodiments of different warrior archetypes. More importantly, I noticed that it felt right. That is my biggest takeaway.

Pantheon helped me confront and reconcile with what I view as my more problematic beliefs. I am learning what feels right and what aligns with my ethics and my path, reminding myself that I am constantly evolving, and that I am not alone in my lived experience. I am excited to continue building my relationships with different Gods and Goddesses and seeing where that path takes me. I deeply grateful to Aly, the Witches’ Council, and the entirety of Bearbridge for providing a safe, open, and knowledgeable environment to not only reconnect myself spiritually, but to connect with other entities safely and sharpen my discernment. It truly is a resource I wish I had much much sooner in my journey.
