Witchcraft addition
So, I’ve been thinking so much about witchcraft and personal responsibility. Don’t worry, this isn’t a blog post about morality, whether or not you should cast spells. This is a post about getting the long term outcomes we seek.
See I have a friend, let’s call her Aunt Addy. Aunt Addy is always having problems with people, work people, friend people and family people. Aunt Addy is a witch and when people don’t act the way she expects them too, watch out! Spells a comin’. Sure, some people probably deserve such spells, but many others do not. To Aunt Addy, everyone is wrong except her and deserving of her ire.
This may feel good in the short term, but in the long run, it doesn’t change the problem which is AUNT ADDY.
If Aunt Addy were to examine situations, really ask herself what part SHE played in all the turmoil around her, things could be different.
Instead of spending so much energy firing off spells to hurt those she perceives as wronged her, she could nip the problem in the bud by taking responsibility, and not have so many toxic interactions.
Also she could put that spell work to use getting the job she wants, bringing in money or taking that vacation that could make her joyous. Surely if she wasn’t so concerned with others being the problem she would be have a happier life, and isn’t that what all the spell work is about?
In short Addy get your sh*t together!
PS. We ALL do this to some extent or another. Just putting it out there.
Self reflection is always a positive.
