The Alchemy of the Solstice Term

The Solstice Term 2026 has drawn to a close, and what an incredible season of growth it has been. This term, BearBridge Academy offered Advanced Astrology, Astral Dreaming, Pantheon, and Practical Magic. It was a privilege not only to witness my own transformation but also to watch my fellow students grow as spring gave way to summer.

In Advanced Astrology, we deepened our understanding of the stars while gaining profound insight into ourselves. More than learning planetary placements and aspects, we uncovered our strengths, explored our shadows, and began the lifelong work of healing our Chiron—our sacred wounds. In Astral Dreaming, the progress was remarkable. Students who once struggled to remember even a single dream were recalling them most nights, while those with strong dream recall learned to interpret their messages with greater confidence.

Pantheon introduced us to a diverse array of deities, helping many discover which spirits were calling to them. In Practical Magic, witches of every experience level embraced the craft as a daily practice, discovering that magic is woven into ordinary moments—not reserved only for the festivals of the Wheel of the Year.

Personally, I was amazed by how seamlessly each class complemented the others. Astrology led me into deep self-discovery and shadow work, helping me understand why I have always felt called to healing and revealing my own sacred wound. Astral Dreaming expanded my ability to interpret dreams and experience lucid dreaming. Pantheon introduced me to extraordinary deities, including Mamu, the Mesopotamian goddess of dream interpretation. Through working with her, I experienced a profound moment of clarity as I finally recognized a recurring pattern within my dreams: I was guiding others through liminal spaces as part of their healing journey. In that moment, everything came full circle, bringing me back to Astrology and a deeper understanding of my life's purpose. Practical Magic served as the final reminder that every day holds the potential for sacred practice—that the craft is not confined to seasonal celebrations, but is something we choose to embody each and every day.

As one term ends, another begins. I am deeply grateful to the instructors, my fellow students, and the deities and spirits who walked beside us throughout this journey. I cannot wait to see where the next season of learning leads.
